Hi everyone! Hope everyone is well and staying safe at home. Today's post is all about my favourite perfumes that I alternate between. After trying and testing several scents I always go back to these three!
Although we're all stuck inside for the foreseeable... There's nothing wrong with a generous spritz before your daily exercise, your weekly food shop or even for lounging about in your own company!
Let's start with my everyday favourite 'Si' Eau De Parfum by Giorgio Armani. This has been my scent for the past 6 years after I picked up my first bottle going through Duty-free before a flight to Nice. I have been in love with it ever since! It is a beautiful combination of Chypre, Blackcurrant Nectar, Airy Florals, Musky Blond Wood. The feminine notes are long lasting so perfect for any occasion. It is sweet & florally, but not too much - like I said I am quite picky!
I use this everyday due to the way it wears on the skin, the blond wood notes ground the scent meaning it lingers all day. Personally, a bottle lasts me ages so I think the value is quite reasonable!
Next, trusty Jo Malone, on the pricier side but it is a treat! Jo Malone London 'Lime, Basil & Mandarin' is favourite of my mine - everyone is different! Pomegranate Noir is also beautiful. This cologne has a slight masculine feel to it which I quite like, which is what differs to the other two. Lime, Basil & Mandarin is quite a unique combination but it is such a vibrant, warm scent with twists of of citrus notes. I save this one for special occasions would work brilliantly for a gift!
Last but definitely not least, Yves Saint Laurent 'Mon Paris'. My going out/special occasion fragrance, this is not just a gorgeous bottle it smells gorgeous too! After smelling this on somebody else I just had to get it myself and haven't stopped buying since. Personally, this isn't an everyday scent for me as it I like to save every last spritz of it... It has such a distinct and high end smell, with notes of Patchouli, White Musk, Cedar wood, White Peony, Orange flower and Pear.
It's strong but not too strong and the best part is a little always goes a long way! I love getting compliments because of this perfume.
I hope you enjoyed reading! I highly recommend as soon as we're allowed out of the house to shop, go and check out these scents - I'm sure you will love them as much as I do!
