REMINISCING: ART GALLERY

So I haven't left the house for 2 weeks now and I am currently reminiscing about anything I did in my last few weeks of freedom.

A couple of weeks before COVID-19 left everyone isolating, I wandered to my local art gallery for a morning of mindfulness. I have to admit, considering Leeds Art Gallery is basically on my doorstep, I don't take advantage of it. It is a beautiful gallery with permanent exhibits as well as fascinating visiting shows - I'm a fan of white space and here you can find a lot of it.

A friend and I spent a little while at the gallery this day, admiring the art and detailing of the building. The cafe alone is a piece of art. That night I felt invigorated, motivated and my creative juices were flowing so I wondered if this was linked to how I had spent my day...

Some of the benefits of visiting an art gallery (and you really should once the pandemic is over...) include - helping you to make connections between space and material objects, they exercise your ability to create meaning, the experience of puzzlement, inspire new ideas and improve your memory!

My OOTD is the 'Stone Tortoise Button Belted Denim Boiler suit' from PrettyLittleThing (Sold out, so I will link a few of my faves available now.) paired with my Nike Airforce and a little 90s inspired white shoulder bag.

I love a Boiler suit, so simple to style, this one step dressing piece has a functional spin on fashion. I have a blue denim version of this and get just as much wear out of it! From denim to linen, and flared to straight... Here are a few of my favourites online at the moment...
