CURRENT OBSESSION

Reworked and vintage designer jewellery has become one of my favourite thing to look for online at the moment. There are jewellery brands that focus on reconstructing authentic designer pieces into new garments - a lot of my favourites right now are buttons or charms upcycled into earrings or necklaces. Brands I have found on Instagram mainly offer reworked pieces but some offer vintage finds which are unaltered.

It’s a really good option if you’re not wanting to spend too much on jewellery - I wouldn’t say cheap option but a huge difference to paying for an original designer piece. I see these purchases almost as investments, things I will always have in my collection and can style in many ways. Reworked jewellery is unique too, you could find something that the brand has made only one of and no one else can get their hands on...

Who knew buying designer could be sustainable purchase? Brings life to an unused piece in someone else’s collection & reduces environmental damage because there are less raw materials being used!
