RETAIL THERAPY @ ZARA

A few days ago, I wandered into Leeds city centre for a little bit of retail therapy, and Zara was my first stop. As soon as I made my way through the entrance, my eyes were drawn to the array of neutrals hanging from the first fixture… I do love a neutral. I found after around 10 minutes in the store my arms were aching as I just couldn’t stop picking things up! I couldn’t resist heading to the fitting rooms.

TEXTURED KNIT CROPPED CARDIGAN - £25.99

So first up is this Grandma-chic cardigan. These have been trending for a while now and I really don’t know how it’s taken me this long to try one! It’s not unusual for Zara to be one of the first high-street stores to jump on the band wagon so I had many of the knitwear pieces to choose from instore. I tried the tea cosy lookalike on with a pair of cream straight leg trousers and a Gucci belt. The black belt broke the cream up nicely, adding another texture to the outfit. I wore the cardigan buttoned up in a size S for a tighter fit, however this would look great oversized too. I think these would be perfect for Spring weather.

SOFT TOUCH HIGH NECK TOP & TROUSER CO ORD - £12.99 & £19.99

I like to dress as comfortable as I possibly can, and I came across the perfect lounge wear co-ord. This nude two piece is such a nice fit, I sometimes struggle with Zara’s sizing, but this was a fab! As for the material, the only way I can describe is it’s like ‘felt’ the arts and crafts material… it does sound odd but feels amazing I can see why they call it soft-touch fabric. My favourite thing about this outfit is how versatile it is The pieces could be styled separately, but together they create an effortless look for many occasions whether I’m chilling at home, going to Uni or dressed with the right accessories, even a shopping day. I wore size S in both items.

OVERSIZE KNIT WAISTCOAT – £25.99

My favourite... I’m sure you will have noticed these sleeveless knits making their way onto our Insta feeds recently and I don’t think its about to stop! (I’m glad.) I styled the V-neck with an oversized white shirt also from Zara and I’m in love! The dogtooth detailing of the kinit is gorgeous and although monochrome, I think it invigorates the plain white shirt. There are plenty of ways these grandad/golf inspired jumpers can be worn both in the current weather but I’m also looking forward to styling them for spring!

So there are my top 3 items in Zara this week! I hope you enjoyed reading and if you would like to see similar content keep posted as I will be uploading very soon!
